How does the Web site use information supplied by me?

RotaCare respects the privacy of our donors.  We will not sell or share our donors' names or personal information with any entity, including for third party fundraising or marketing purposes.

This policy applies to all information received by RotaCare, both online and offline, through our website and social media, as well as from any electronic, written, or oral communications.  To the extent donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

• donation information: amounts donated, dates of donations, method of donation

• special requests and comments

• non-personally identifiable information, such as how many times someone visits each of our website pages, and if the visitor is repeat or new

• generally available public information gathered from the National Change of Address database

How Information Is Used  

• Rotacare uses the information collected to maintain records of donations, send acknowledgements, send newsletters, notices, and direct mail pieces, and for internal marketing purposes.

• We normally add you to our mailing list, unless you request otherwise.

• We use website statistics to analyze our website usage.

Removing Your Name from Our Mailing List  

Please contact us if you wish to be removed from our mailing list by emailing “info@rotacareny.org” or calling 516-539-9834.  You can also click ‘Unsubscribe’ on any of our emails to be removed from our email list.
